Specialist planning for the fitness component, from room planning through installation.
We work directly with homeowners or alongside project teams to plan the room, specify equipment, coordinate technical requirements, and remain involved through installation when useful.
01 PROGRAMMING + ROOM PLANNING
Room planning should precede equipment selection and respond to the architecture.
Begin with use, space, circulation, proportion, flexibility, and architectural context. The equipment plan should cover the household’s needs without asking the room to accommodate more than it should.
Programming + plan review | Equipment footprints + clearances | Open floor + mobility space
02 EQUIPMENT SELECTION + SPECIFICATION
Equipment selection should respond to the room as well as the user.
Performance is one consideration among several. We look closely at the engineering, materials, and craftsmanship behind each piece, alongside footprint, ergonomics, serviceability, finish, visual presence, and cost. A mechanically excellent machine can still be unsuitable for a particular room.
Brand + model comparisons | Technical specifications | Equipment schedule
03 ARCHITECTURAL + INTERIOR COORDINATION
Coordinate technical requirements while the design is still developing.
Power, mirrors, flooring, ventilation, service access, and delivery paths are easier to resolve while drawings are developing. We provide the relevant fitness-specific information in time for it to be incorporated into the project.
Coordination notes + drawings | Dimensions + power | Safety + clearances | Vendor documentation
04 PROCUREMENT + INSTALLATION
The work continues through procurement and installation.
When included in scope, we remain involved through ordering, vendor coordination, delivery, installation, and punch-list resolution, carrying the fitness-specific decisions and design intent through to the installed room.
OUR PROCESS
From early planning through installation.
01
UNDERSTAND
Use, room, plans, priorities, project stage.
02
PLAN
Layout, equipment, circulation, clearances, design context.
03
COORDINATE
Return dimensions, requirements, and decisions to the relevant team members at the stage they can use them.
04
FINALIZE
Selections, approvals, documentation, procurement.
05
INSTALL
Delivery, placement, installation coordination, punch list.
From existing space to considered room.
Planning extends beyond equipment selection. The room itself is part of the work.
